Brief Summary:
A branding/marketing design company approached us about working with them on a new project for Sony. The project was the launch of new Sony concession within the Three Store, Southampton. Although some concept design work had been produced, this was still at the very early stages. Using our knowledge and experience we developed these initial sketch concepts into fully detailed design drawings. Many aspects of the concession involved user interaction with electrical devices - phones, tablets, touch screens etc… This was an exciting opportunity to develop some innovative design solutions. As well as the interesting products, there were also some challenging elements within the concept, one being the ‘Tree of Connectivity’ an eight foot tall timber sculpture with integrated lighting elements. Using Solidworks 3D CAD software, we were able to fully model the tree and make sure that all components would come together correctly. All fixtures were manufactured in our UK factory and installation carried out by our dedicated team of fitters.
